Women Writers

Female writers aren't much different than male writers. I've read many books by men and women alike and found that it all depends on the writer, some writers are more descriptive, while others can be more factual in their way of telling their story. I don't prefer a gender when it comes to reading a book. All i look for is a good book with either gender.

Edith Wharton Facts

1. Edith and Edward Warton were married for 28 years, until thy divorced. She said it was her "greatest mistake" to marry him.

2. She was the first woman to win the Pulitzer Prize for literature.

3. She was good friends with Theodore Roosevelt

4. In 1902, she built "The Mount", which was her estate in Lenox, Massachusetts

5. She was one of the few foreigners allowed to go onto the French frontlines during WWII.

In an antediluvian town call Peladclees, there was a man named Thaedeus, who was known to be a ruthless desperado of his time. Antebellum Peldclees was renown for its bonanza of gold. Only a score of people were wealthy enough to make a living from the area, forcing the poorer people to resemble atavism to survive on the streets. Thaedeus, although an outlaw, sometimes gave his auguries to paying people. Saying that in 4 generations something good or bad will happen to their family, his predictions were so vague he was never wrong, therefore a reliable source. But his epoch was ephemeral, since he was later forced to join a flotilla which he ran away from, forever to be labeled a renegade by everyone. He was soon given the death sentence for abandoning his position in the war efforts.

Seattle 1999

The WTO is the acronym for the "World Trade Organization". The WTO is the only global international organization dealing with the rules of trade between nations. In the movie "This is what Democracy looks like", the protesters are protesting about the WTO not enforcing the rules of trade and not suporting the worker unions by not proiding saftey equipment and lowering the salaries of the workers. In my opinion, the people had a right to protest and shouldn't have been treating the protesters the way the police did.
